Secretary Rubio discusses trade and regional stability with Ugandan President Museveni

The Secretary also thanked Uganda for providing a model of regional stability including its valuable contributions to peacekeeping in East Africa."

The United States has previously recognized Uganda's role in promoting stability in East Africa through its involvement in peacekeeping missions.
