Jelani Christmas, a 42-year-old resident of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 200 months in prison and five years of supervised release for drug trafficking. The sentence was handed down by United States District Judge Joel H. Slomsky following Christmas’s guilty plea to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
According to court documents and statements from the defendant, Christmas was involved in distributing methamphetamine in Montgomery and Bucks counties during 2024. Authorities executed a search warrant on August 14, 2024, on a van operated solely by Christmas. During the search, they found more than 50 kilograms (approximately 111 pounds) of methamphetamine hidden inside a compartment within the vehicle.
The investigation was conducted by the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Assistant United States Attorneys Lindsey Mills, John Boscia, and Rebecca Kulik prosecuted the case.
United States Attorney David Metcalf stated: "Jelani Christmas, 42, of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 200 months in prison and five years of supervised release by United States District Judge Joel H. Slomsky yesterday for drug trafficking."
