A Portsmouth man identified as a member of the local street gang “600” has been sentenced to 10 years and 10 months in federal prison for carjacking and brandishing a firearm during a violent crime.
Court documents show that on July 10, 2022, Cedric Rashad Davis Jr., also known as Ced, Luh Ced, or Grim Reaper, age 22, robbed an individual in Virginia Beach. During the incident, Davis displayed a firearm and demanded the victim’s vehicle keys. After receiving the keys, he took the vehicle and left the scene.
The following day, Davis used Instagram to post videos showing himself driving the stolen car while holding a handgun. Investigators later found text messages on Davis’ phone indicating he tried to sell the stolen vehicle.
