AFPI responds to MAHA Commission's new health strategy

The America First Policy Institute (AFPI) has responded to the release of the "Make Our Children Healthy Again Strategy" by the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission. The strategy was unveiled on September 9, 2025, as part of an initiative led by President Trump's administration.

Hannah Anderson, Director of Healthy America Policy, and Tate Bennett, Director of Rural Policy at AFPI, issued a joint statement regarding the strategy. They described it as a "much-needed and new paradigm shift to address America’s chronic disease epidemic." They expressed appreciation for President Trump and members of the commission, highlighting Secretary Kennedy, Secretary Rollins, and Administrator Zeldin for their dedication to improving Americans' health.

The statement also acknowledged the extensive discussions and listening sessions held with health experts, farmers, and citizens during the development of the strategy. AFPI expressed its eagerness to further engage with the policies outlined in this new health initiative.
