John K. Hurley, Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, is scheduled to visit the U.S.-Mexico border in San Diego, California. During his visit, Hurley will meet with law enforcement officials and representatives from the U.S. Department of Justice, specifically the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California.
The meetings are intended to discuss ongoing collaboration between Treasury and its partners to disrupt terrorist drug cartels operating along the border. According to Hurley, "Under President Trump and Secretary Bessent’s leadership, Treasury will continue to aggressively target Mexican drug cartels financial networks to keep Americans safe."
