For more than a decade, Parkersburg Pharmacy has served the Butler County community by providing patient care and health services. Chair Joni Ernst highlighted the pharmacy’s commitment to its patients, stating, “For over 10 years, Parkersburg Pharmacy has filled the Butler County community’s need for high-quality patient care and health care services. One dose of dedication at a time, Parkersburg Pharmacy goes the extra mile to ensure each patient’s well-being, enhancing public health in Parkersburg and across Iowa.”
The pharmacy was established in 2010 by Tom Reinart. In 2023, ownership transferred to Brent Bovy, who continues to focus on personalized service and customer support for residents throughout Butler County. According to the announcement, Bovy and his staff prioritize medication safety and appropriate use.
Chair Ernst plans to continue recognizing notable small businesses in Iowa through her Small Business of the Week award.
