Laredo Sector Border Patrol has started the Youth of the Month Program for the 2025-2026 school year. The program aims to recognize and promote academic achievement among high school students in Laredo.
On September 25, a ceremony was held at John B. Alexander High School to honor 11 seniors from local high schools who received the Laredo Sector Border Patrol Youth of the Month award. The event brought together Border Patrol officials and community partners.
Charles E. Clough, Patrol Agent in Charge of Laredo South Station, spoke at the event about the significance of the award and acknowledged the hard work required to achieve it. He stated, "He encouraged the honorees to reflect on the value of community and the principles that will guide them as they continue to grow and achieve great things in life." This marks the 39th year for this program.
