Trividia Health, Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of 601 TRUE METRIX Self-Monitoring Blood Glucose Meters that were distributed in the United States under the Good Neighbor Pharmacy brand. The affected meters are from lot number KD0746, manufactured on September 4, 2025, and distributed between September 8 and September 16, 2025.
The company identified a potential issue with the LCD displays of these meters. According to Trividia Health, some devices may show partial or missing numerical segments or characters, or experience ghosting effects where numbers appear faded. This could lead users to misinterpret test results or delay obtaining them. For those experiencing low blood glucose levels (hypoglycemia), this may result in delayed treatment decisions.
Trividia Health stated it has not received any reports of patient injuries related to this recall. "Patient safety is our top priority at Trividia Health. This voluntary recall is being conducted in coordination with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration FDA to quickly resolve this matter," said the company.
Consumers who think they have an affected product can check by calling Trividia Health’s Customer Care Department toll-free at 1-888-835-2723 during business hours, emailing trividia0925CC@trividiahealth.com for assistance with verifying serial numbers, checking the lot number KD0746 printed on their product’s box, or visiting www.trividiahealth.com/productnotice for an online search using their meter’s serial number.
Those confirmed to have one of the recalled meters will receive instructions for returning and replacing their device from Trividia Health's customer service team. Meters from other lots not included in this recall remain safe for use.
The company is notifying customers including pharmacies, mail order companies, and distributors across the country about the recall process.
