On October 2, 2025, the White House announced a series of nominations and one withdrawal sent to the United States Senate for consideration.
The nominations include Daniel Bonham of Oregon to serve as Assistant Secretary of Labor, replacing Elizabeth Schoff Watson who resigned. Mark Ditlevson of Minnesota has been nominated for Assistant Secretary of Defense, succeeding Melissa Griffin Dalton following her resignation.
Paul Ferguson from West Virginia is nominated to be United States Marshal for the Northern District of West Virginia for a four-year term, taking over from J. C. Raffety whose term expired. William Hewes III from Mississippi is nominated as Commissioner of the Consumer Product Safety Commission for a term ending October 26, 2031, succeeding Douglas Dziak after his resignation.
Benjamin Landa from New York is nominated to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary. Arvind Raman from Indiana is nominated as Under Secretary of Commerce for Standards and Technology, replacing Laurie E. Locascio who resigned.
Robert Rotter from Iowa is nominated as United States Marshal for the Northern District of Iowa for four years, following Douglas J. Strike whose term expired. Daniel Satterlee from South Dakota is nominated as United States Marshal for the District of South Dakota for four years, succeeding Daniel C. Mosteller after his term ended.
David St. Pierre from Maine has been put forward as United States Marshal for the District of Maine for a four-year term, replacing Theodor G. Short after his term expired.
Jennifer Wicks McNamara from Virginia, currently a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service at the rank of Minister-Counselor, has been nominated to serve as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam.
Additionally, there was one withdrawal: "Mark Brnovich, of Arizona, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Serbia, which was sent to the Senate on April 29, 2025."
