Ben's Original has announced a voluntary recall of certain batches of its Ready Rice products in the United States. The recall affects select Ben's Original Long Grain White, Whole Grain Brown, and Long Grain & Wild Ready Rice items. The company stated that the recall is due to the possible presence of small, naturally occurring stones that originated from the rice farm. These stones could cause oral or digestive tract injuries if consumed.

The affected products are limited to specific batch codes and best by dates, which are listed on the bottom seal at the back of each package. Retailers carrying these products include HEB, Target, United Markets, Amazon, and Piggly Wiggly, among others. Additional retailers may also be affected as some products were distributed by Associated Grocers, C&S, and Dot Foods during August and September.

Ben's Original emphasized that no other products are impacted by this recall and described the issue as isolated to these specific batches. "In line with our commitment to transparency and trust, we are taking action to remove the impacted products from the stores where they were sent and to notify consumers."

There have been no reports of injury or illness related to these products so far. Consumers who believe they have purchased any of the affected items are advised not to consume them. They can contact Ben’s Original Consumer Care for returns or questions at 1-800-548-6253 during regular business hours.
