U.S. and Brazil officials agree to further talks on trade and bilateral cooperation

Secretary of State Marco Rubio and United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer held a meeting with Brazil’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, to discuss trade and bilateral issues. According to a joint statement, the talks were described as very positive.

The statement noted that Secretary Rubio, Ambassador Greer, and Minister Vieira agreed to collaborate on several issues and to continue discussions in the near future. The parties also agreed to establish a framework for ongoing cooperation.
