Nat’s Nuts, based in Rochester, New York, has announced a recall of 600 bags of its Cinnamon Whiskey Pecans due to the possible presence of undeclared cashews. The company stated that individuals with allergies or severe sensitivities to cashews could face serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume the affected product.

The recalled product was distributed between October 8 and October 16, 2025, to 25 retail stores across Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Nevada, Florida, and Wisconsin. It was also sold online through Amazon and the company’s website during this period.

The specific item involved is Nat’s Nuts brand Cinnamon Whiskey Pecans in a 4-ounce black and orange bag. The packaging bears UPC code 860002146720, lot code 1.22, and a best by date of September 29, 2026.

No illnesses have been reported so far in connection with the recall.

According to Nat’s Nuts, "The recall was initiated after a retailer opened a package of the Cinnamon Whiskey Pecans for sampling and discovered cashews mixed in with the pecans. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company's production and packaging processes."

Consumers who purchased the product are advised to return it to their place of purchase for a full refund. Questions can be directed to Nat’s Nuts at 585-310-0157 during business hours Monday through Friday. Retailers have been instructed to remove the affected products from shelves.
