U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, who serves as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, has scheduled a hearing to consider nominees for positions on two key federal transportation boards. The hearing is set for Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST in the Committee Hearing Room, Russell 253.
The nominees under consideration include John Deleeuw of Texas for membership on the National Transportation Safety Board; Richard Kloster of West Virginia for membership on the Surface Transportation Board; and Michelle Schultz of Pennsylvania, who is being considered for renomination to continue serving as a member of the Surface Transportation Board.
