Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), part of the Department of Homeland Security, has received over 200,000 applications from Americans seeking to join its law enforcement ranks. The agency stated that these applicants are motivated to help remove individuals such as murderers, gang members, pedophiles, terrorists, and rapists from the United States.

Secretary Kristi Noem commented on the response: “ICE has received more than 200,000 applications from patriotic Americans who want to defend the homeland by removing the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from the U.S.,” said Secretary Kristi Noem. “Americans are answering their country's call to serve and help remove murderers, pedophiles, rapists, terrorists, and gang members from our country.”

ICE is offering several incentives for those interested in federal law enforcement careers. These include a signing bonus of up to $50,000, options for student loan repayment and forgiveness, 25% Law Enforcement Availability Pay (LEAP) for HSI Special Agents, Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime for Enforcement Removal Operations Deportation Officers, and enhanced retirement benefits.

Further details about these opportunities and how to apply can be found at www.join.ice.gov.
