House Small Business Committee schedules markup session and manufacturing hearing

The House Committee on Small Business has announced its schedule for the week of November 17, 2025. The committee will hold a full committee markup session and a hearing focused on domestic manufacturing.

On Tuesday, November 18, at 9:45 AM ET, the committee will meet in the Hearing Room at 2360 Rayburn House Office Building to mark up seven bills. These bills include the Main Street Parity Act (H.R. 5763), the 504 Program Risk Oversight Act (H.R. 5788), the Northern Mariana Islands Small Business Access Act (H.R. 3496), the AI for Mainstreet Act (H.R. 5764), the Artificial Intelligence Wisdom for Innovative Small Enterprises (AI-WISE) Act (H.R. 5784), the Improving SBA Engagement on Employee Ownership Act (H.R. 5778), and the Destroying Unnecessary, Misaligned, and Prohibitive (DUMP) Red Tape Act of 2025 (H.R. 4305). The session is open to the public and will be available online through the Committee’s YouTube channel.

Later in the week, on Thursday, November 20, at 10:00 AM ET, the committee will conduct a hearing titled “Made in the USA: How Main Street is Revitalizing Domestic Manufacturing.” The hearing aims to review how American manufacturing businesses are contributing to innovation, job creation, and economic growth.

Witnesses scheduled to testify include Charles Crain, Managing Vice President of Policy at the National Association of Manufacturers; Harry Moser, Founder and President of Reshoring Initiative; Kurt Voss, CEO of AmeriLux Family of Companies; and Shirley Modlin, Co-Owner of 3D Design and Manufacturing. This hearing is also open to the public and can be viewed online via YouTube.

The events reflect ongoing efforts by lawmakers to address issues affecting small businesses and support U.S.-based manufacturing initiatives.
