Cody Michael DeGraw, a 30-year-old resident of Coweta, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 87 months in prison for possessing material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor. The sentencing took place in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, with Chief U.S. District Judge Ronald A. White presiding.

DeGraw pleaded guilty on July 10, 2025. According to investigators from Homeland Security Investigations, between December 30, 2023 and February 27, 2025, DeGraw accessed and possessed images depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Authorities recovered a total of 161 images from his cellular telephones.

This prosecution was conducted as part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative started by the Department of Justice in May 2006 aimed at addressing child sexual exploitation and abuse nationwide. Project Safe Childhood brings together federal, state, and local resources to prosecute offenders and identify victims. Further information about the program is available at www.justice.gov/psc.
