The Higher Education and Workforce Development Subcommittee, led by Rep. Burgess Owens (R-UT), will conduct a hearing on Wednesday to discuss the role of Learning and Employment Records (LERs) in supporting workers and increasing opportunities. The session, titled “Building a Talent Marketplace: How LERs Empower Workers and Expand Opportunity,” is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on December 10, 2025, at the Rayburn House Office Building, room 2175.
The hearing is open to members of the press and will be available via live stream on the Committee’s YouTube channel.
