U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers conducted arrests over the weekend targeting individuals described as criminal illegal aliens, including gang members, individuals convicted of sexual offenses, and drug traffickers across several states.
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated, “While Americans across the country were enjoying their weekends and holiday shopping, ICE law enforcement was hard at work arresting pedophiles, gang members, and drug traffickers. Today, we launched a worst of the worst website, so every American can see for themselves the criminal illegal aliens that we are arresting, what crimes they committed, and what communities we removed them from. This holiday season, make sure to thank law enforcement officers for all they do to make America safe again.”
The agency highlighted several arrests made during this period. Among those taken into custody were Cesar Ramos-Cruz from El Salvador in North Carolina for indecent liberties with a child; Jose Antonio Rodas-Ortes from Honduras in Maryland for a third-degree sex offense; Ernesto Espinosa-Hernandez from Mexico in New York for sexual abuse; Rodrigo Roman Basantes from Ecuador in New Jersey for sexual assault involving a minor under 13; Roberto Guerrero-Lopez from Mexico in Texas for endangering a child; Geilond Vido-Romero from Venezuela identified as a Tren de Aragua gang member convicted of escape; Edward Roberts from Jamaica in Minnesota for aiding and abetting second-degree unintentional murder; Son Kim Lam from Vietnam in California for robbery; Fernando Menocal-Rosado from Cuba in Florida for drug trafficking and burglary; Oscar Carrete from Mexico in Texas for manufacturing or delivering controlled substances; Ge Her from Laos in Minnesota for third-degree sex conduct using force or coercion; Luis Alfredo Valero-Salinas from Honduras in Kentucky for voyeurism; Dennies Gutierrez from Cuba in Florida on multiple drug-related charges as well as larceny and burglary; German Oswaldo Secaida from Guatemala in Utah for sexual exploitation of a minor; and Pablo Calderon-Ramirez from Honduras in North Carolina for driving while impaired.
