House Small Business Committee schedules hearing on veteran entrepreneurship

The House Committee on Small Business is set to hold a hearing titled “From Service to Startup: Empowering Veteran Entrepreneurs” on Wednesday, December 10 at 10:00 AM ET. The session will take place in the Hearing Room at 2360 Rayburn House Office Building.

The hearing aims to examine the role of veteran entrepreneurs, discuss challenges they face when starting businesses, and explore ways to improve support for veterans entering entrepreneurship.

Scheduled witnesses include Kevin M. Schmiegel, Co-Founder and CEO of ZeroMils; Misty Fox, Director of Entrepreneurship and Small Business at the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families; Christopher Lefebvre, President and CEO of ISI Professional Services; and Rebecca Aguilera-Gardiner, CEO of The Veterans In Business Network.

The event is open to the public and will also be available for viewing online through the Committee’s YouTube channel.
