Lil’ Turtles has announced a voluntary recall of all lots of its Grandma Belle’s Tomato Basil Soup due to the presence of an undeclared milk allergen. The product, which comes in 17 oz glass jars, was sold at various retail locations across Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Minnesota, Utah, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Iowa between September 23, 2022 and December 3, 2025.

The recall was initiated after the Ohio Department of Agriculture found the labeling issue during a routine inspection. No illnesses have been reported related to this product so far. However, individuals with a milk allergy or severe sensitivity are at risk for serious allergic reactions if they consume the soup.

"Consumers with a milk allergy or sensitivity who have purchased the affected product should contact Lil’ Turtles for a replacement pack. Consumers with questions regarding this recall can contact Josh Coblentz at 330-897-6400," according to the company.
