Lunds & Byerlys recalls monster cookies due to labeling error and allergen risk

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Lunds & Byerlys has announced a voluntary recall of its L&B Monster Cookies after discovering that an incorrect ingredient label was applied to the product packaging. The affected packages may contain undeclared peanuts, egg, and soy, which could pose serious or life-threatening risks for individuals with allergies to these ingredients.

The cookies were available for purchase at all Lunds & Byerlys locations in the Twin Cities and St. Cloud from November 15, 2025, through December 9, 2025. The company stated that the UPC on the mislabeled packages (18169-66862) is actually for their Tex-Mex Turkey Wrap and was inadvertently used on the Monster Cookies during this period.

"No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall. This product concern was first noticed by a store employee, and they notified the company’s Quality Assurance team," according to Lunds & Byerlys.

Customers who purchased the recalled product are encouraged to return it to any Lunds & Byerlys store for a full refund without needing a receipt. For further information, customers can contact Lunds & Byerlys Customer Service at 952-548-1400 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., seven days a week.
