Border Patrol arrests 43 migrants at stash house in Mission

U.S. Border Patrol agents, working with the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office and Texas Department of Public Safety, discovered a stash house in Mission, Texas on December 1. The operation led to the arrest of 43 individuals suspected of being in the country illegally.

According to officials, agents conducted a "knock and talk" at a residence in Mission. Upon entering, they found 43 people from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, El Salvador, and Ecuador inside a small trailer home. Authorities reported that those found were living in substandard and unsanitary conditions.

The case is currently under investigation by the U.S. Border Patrol.
