U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) shared updates on its recent enforcement actions and consumer protection efforts through a series of posts on December 11, 2025.
In one post, CBP reported the outcome of a vehicle stop in Arizona. According to the agency, "Border Patrol agents in Arizona conducted a vehicle stop that resulted in human smuggling case and an active warrant for homicide for the driver. We stop at nothing when it comes to keeping America safe." (December 11, 2025).
Later that day, CBP addressed ongoing operations in Oregon. The agency stated, "We are still removing the worst of the worst from the Portland area. Border Patrol agents and CBP officers apprehended 20 illegal aliens. The aliens were nationals from Mexico, Guatemala, Vietnam, El Salvador, and Honduras. Their criminal rap sheets include: - Domestic Violence -" (December 11, 2025).
In another update focused on consumer safety during the holiday season, CBP posted: "Nobody likes fake and faulty electronics. CBP is here to make sure you don't end up disappointed this Christmas." (December 11, 2025).
CBP is responsible for securing U.S. borders and facilitating lawful international travel and trade as part of its mission within the Department of Homeland Security.
