A federal grand jury has indicted Marty Dwayne Beasley, 48, of Hackleburg, Alabama, for allegedly possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona.

The indictment, filed in U.S. District Court, states that on March 12, 2024, Beasley unlawfully possessed a Jennings .22 caliber pistol. Due to previous felony convictions, Beasley is prohibited from owning or possessing firearms.
