Aviation Subcommittee Chairman Troy E. Nehls has announced that Bryan Bedford, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), will testify before Congress for the first time in his new role. The hearing, titled “The State of American Aviation,” is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, and will take place in Room 2167 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
Members of the subcommittee are expected to discuss recent regulatory actions by the FAA and address current issues affecting aviation. They will also seek updates regarding the implementation of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024.
