Danone U.S. has announced a voluntary recall of its So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints. The recall affects products with best-by dates before August 8, 2027, due to the potential presence of foreign materials, including small stones and other hard objects found in the cashew inclusions.
The recall applies only to the Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pint with SKU 136603 and UPC 744473476138. Other flavors and products under the So Delicious Dairy Free brand are not affected by this action.
According to Danone U.S., "So Delicious Dairy Free takes every consumer experience seriously and is initiating this voluntary recall in line with its commitment to product quality and consumer safety." The company has already informed the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) about the recall and is working with retailers to remove the affected products from shelves nationwide.
Consumers who have purchased these pints are advised not to consume them. For information on refunds, customers can contact the So Delicious Dairy Free Care Line at 1-833-367-8975 during business hours or use the webform at https://sodeliciousdairyfree.com/contact-us/.
Danone U.S. reports that it has identified and corrected the issue and expects to reintroduce the frozen dessert once safety is ensured.
