U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and its Mexican law enforcement partners in Coahuila have announced new criminal targets for the “Se Busca Información” initiative. The announcement was made during a press briefing at Amistad Dam on December 16.

The “Se Busca Información” program encourages people on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border to report information about dangerous, wanted criminals. Reports can be made anonymously using WhatsApp or by calling 830-313-4557. The phone line is available around the clock and connects directly to the Border Patrol’s Del Rio Sector call center. Information received is shared with law enforcement agencies in both countries.

Pictures of ten wanted individuals are featured on posters, flyers, and billboards. These images are displayed along city streets and in public areas in Mexico, as well as at U.S. Border Patrol stations, immigration checkpoints, and international ports of entry within the Del Rio Sector.

Officials say that cooperation between the United States and Mexico through this bilateral initiative supports efforts to create a safer border region. Community engagement is considered essential for locating these individuals.

“Se Busca Información,” which means "information wanted" in Spanish, aims to involve community members from both countries in helping authorities identify and apprehend dangerous criminals.

“U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is America's frontline: the nation's largest law enforcement organization and the world's first unified border management agency. The 67,000+ men and women of CBP protect America on the ground, in the air, and on the seas. We enforce safe, lawful travel and trade and ensure our country's economic prosperity. We enhance the nation's security through innovation, intelligence, collaboration, and trust,” according to CBP officials.
