Congressman Brett Guthrie, Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, along with Congressman Morgan Griffith, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Health, announced a hearing to address legislative proposals aimed at improving patient access to Medicare services.
The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 10:15 AM ET in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The session will focus on several bills designed to enhance Medicare payment policies and increase care access for seniors.

- H.R. 5243, a bill to increase data transparency for supplemental benefits under Medicare Advantage
- H.R. 5269, Reforming and Enhancing Sustainable Updates to Laboratory Testing Services (RESULTS) Act of 2025
- H.R. 5347, Health Care Efficiency Through Flexibility Act
- H.R. 6210, Senior Savings Protection Act
- H.R. 6361, Ban AI Denials in Medicare Act
