House Small Business Committee to hold hearing on SBA advocacy and regulatory reform

The House Committee on Small Business has announced a hearing titled “A Voice for Small Business: How the SBA Office of Advocacy is Cutting Red Tape.” The hearing will focus on the mission of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Advocacy, its responsibilities in ensuring compliance with the Regulatory Flexibility Act, and the significance of regulatory reform to support small businesses.

The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, January 7th at 10:00 AM ET and will take place in Hearing Room 2360 at the Rayburn House Office Building. Dr. Casey Mulligan, Chief Counsel at the SBA Office of Advocacy, is set to testify as a witness.

The event is open to the public and will also be available for viewing online through the Committee’s YouTube channel.
