Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent has announced the launch of a new platform called "Working Family Tax Cuts: Ushering in a New Golden Age." The initiative aims to give Americans detailed information about President Trump’s economic agenda, which focuses on supporting families, workers, and economic growth.
According to Secretary Bessent, “Treasury is opening the books for the American people. Starting with the historic Working Families Tax Cuts, we want Americans to see exactly how the President’s policies will strengthen small businesses, allow workers to keep more of their hard-earned money and spur economic growth as we head into this historic anniversary of our great nation.”
The platform will begin by providing insights into several key policies that were signed into law by President Trump on July 4th, 2025. These include permanent tax cuts intended to increase tax refunds and paychecks for Americans starting in 2026. Other focus areas are promoting economic security through specialized accounts called Trump Accounts, supporting small businesses on Main Street, encouraging investment in research and development as well as capital expenditures under the "Made in America" initiative, funding school choice programs while addressing diversity initiatives, protecting national borders, aiding farmers and ranchers, rewarding honest work, emphasizing support for families and life issues, ensuring energy dominance for the country, and safeguarding taxpayer funds from fraud.
The Treasury Department states that this new resource is designed to help Americans understand how these policies may impact them directly.
