U.S. Senator Joni Ernst, Chair of the Senate Small Business Committee, has named Kinetic Technologies of Kossuth County as her Small Business of the Week. Ernst plans to recognize a small business in each of Iowa’s 99 counties during the 119th Congress.
“Kinetic Technologies has sparked progress in Iowa’s manufacturing sector, proving that when innovation and integrity work hand in hand, the results are nothing short of transformative,” said Chair Ernst. “Under Mark and Betsy Barglof’s leadership, the company continues to power ahead, raising the standard for what local businesses can build while energizing manufacturers across the country.”
Kinetic Technologies was established in 2021 by Mark and Betsy Barglof. The company began as a small fabrication and custom manufacturing shop and has become known for advanced robotic welding systems and custom automation solutions. It offers end-to-end services from design to installation and training, helping clients address production challenges and improve efficiency.
The Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, which Senator Ernst chairs, plays a role in shaping federal policy related to expenditures and income through its oversight responsibilities. More information about its functions is available on its official website. The committee also supports informed decision-making on national fiscal priorities and provides Congress with policy options on budget components (source).
Chair Ernst will continue her weekly recognition of outstanding Iowa small businesses throughout this congressional session.
