The House Committee on Education and Workforce, led by Chairman Rep. Tim Walberg (R-MI), will hold the first hearing in a series focused on artificial intelligence. The hearing, titled “Building an AI-Ready America,” is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 10:15 a.m. It will take place in Room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
The event is open to the press and will also be live-streamed on the Committee’s YouTube page.
