The Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education will hold a hearing tomorrow at 10:15 a.m. The session, titled "Who's Watching the Kids? How Employers, Innovators, and Parents Are Solving America’s Child Care Crunch," will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
Representative Kevin Kiley (R-CA), who chairs the subcommittee, will oversee the proceedings. The hearing aims to address how different stakeholders are responding to challenges in child care across the United States.
Scheduled witnesses include Haden Polseno-Hensley, President and Co-Founder of Red Rooster Coffee Company, LLC; Alex Grover, CEO of i2M; Amy K. Matsui, Vice President for Child Care & Income Security at the National Women’s Law Center; and Mary Lou Burke Afonso, COO of Bright Horizons.
