House subcommittee schedules hearing on adopting AI in the workplace

The Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions will hold a hearing focused on the use of artificial intelligence in the workplace. The session, titled “Building an AI-Ready America: Adopting AI at Work,” is scheduled for Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 10:15 a.m. It will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

Rep. Rick Allen (R-GA), who chairs the subcommittee, will oversee this second hearing in a series examining artificial intelligence. The event is open to members of the press and will also be available via live stream on the Committee’s YouTube page.

The hearing aims to discuss how workplaces can prepare for and integrate artificial intelligence technologies.
