U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), in partnership with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), will host a special NEXUS enrollment event at King County International Airport, also known as Boeing Field, from February 24 to 26. The event is open to conditionally approved applicants who wish to complete their NEXUS interviews.

Interviews will be conducted by appointment only between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on all three days. The airport is located at 7277 Perimeter Rd. S., Seattle, WA, and free parking will be available for visitors at the terminal.

NEXUS is a voluntary program that offers expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers between the United States and Canada. Members of the program benefit from reduced wait times at designated ports of entry.

To apply for NEXUS membership, interested travelers must submit an online application through the Trusted Traveler Programs Enrollment System at https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov. The application fee is $120 for five years of membership. After applying online, individuals undergo a background check; if approved without disqualifying findings, they receive conditional approval through their TTP account and can then schedule an interview appointment for the event.

Applicants are encouraged to begin the process as soon as possible to take advantage of this enrollment opportunity. More details about the NEXUS Program are available on CBP’s Trusted Traveler page at https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs.

According to CBP, "U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is America's frontline: the nation's largest law enforcement organization and the world's first unified border management agency. The 67,000+ men and women of CBP protect America on the ground, in the air, and on the seas. We enforce safe, lawful travel and trade and ensure our country's economic prosperity. We enhance the nation's security through innovation, intelligence, collaboration, and trust."
