Kevin P. Davidson, U.S. Attorney | U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama
A Montgomery man has been convicted on multiple federal drug trafficking charges following a jury trial, according to an announcement from Acting United States Attorney Kevin Davidson.
Arsenio Hall, 36, was found guilty on December 18, 2025, of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, a synthetic cannabinoid, and marijuana. The conviction follows an investigation that began in late 2024 into suspected drug trafficking activity in Montgomery County.
Investigators from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a Montgomery residence on December 4, 2024. During the search, law enforcement discovered more than three kilograms of nearly pure methamphetamine, over 200 grams of cocaine, about three pounds of marijuana, and 349 grams of synthetic cannabinoid in a bedroom closet. Additional evidence collected included fingerprints linking Hall directly to the drugs.
Hall was initially arrested on state charges. A federal grand jury indicted him on four counts in July 2025; a fifth count was added in November. After a three-day trial, Hall was convicted on all five counts.
“This case reflects the strong collaboration between federal and local law enforcement here in the Middle District of Alabama,” said Acting United States Attorney Davidson. “I am grateful to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration for their hard work and careful investigation, which helped bring this case to a successful conclusion.”
A sentencing hearing will be scheduled soon. Hall faces at least ten years and up to life in federal prison without parole.
The case was investigated by both the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Assistant United States Attorneys Mark E. Andreu and Christopher P. Moore prosecuted the case.
