The NFIB Texas PAC, a political action committee made up of members from the National Federation of Independent Business in Texas, has announced its endorsement of Lt. Governor Dan Patrick for re-election.
Jeff Burdett, NFIB State Director, stated, “Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick understands the strength of the Texas economy is found in its Main Street businesses. Throughout his time as lieutenant governor, Dan Patrick has consistently stood up for small businesses and championed reforms that make it easier to do business in our state. Most recently, Lt. Gov. Patrick was instrumental in securing historic property tax relief for small business owners."
Burdett added, “On behalf of small business owner members who call Texas home, I am honored to announce the NFIB Texas PAC’s endorsement of Lieutenant Governor Patrick.”
The endorsement brings grassroots support from the state’s small business community to Patrick’s campaign. The organization noted that small business owners and their employees are active voters and often encourage others to participate on Election Day. The NFIB plans to motivate its members in Texas to help mobilize pro-small business voters at the polls.
