U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) shared details on several recent law enforcement actions through its official Twitter account in early February 2026. The agency described arrests involving individuals with serious criminal backgrounds and highlighted joint operations with other federal agencies.
On February 10, 2026, CBP reported a collaborative effort between the USBP Chief BLW Targeting Unit and ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), stating: "Last week, @USBPCHIEFBLW Targeting Unit teamed up with ICE ERO to arrest a Mexican national convicted of molestation of a minor and incest in Bellingham, WA; the subject was processed for immigration proceedings as an aggravated felon and is now in ICE custody, soon to be removed".

On February 11, CBP highlighted a multi-agency operation targeting gang activity: " Early morning takedown! The McAllen @CBPAMO Air Branch, @HSI_HQ, @USMarshalsHQ and @TxDPS recently teamed up to track and capture notorious Latin Kings gang members—TWO arrests before sunrise! Real-time surveillance, tactical teamwork, and flawless execution. Outstanding".
CBP regularly collaborates with agencies such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), U.S. Marshals Service, and state law enforcement partners like Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) in efforts to address cross-border crime and apprehend individuals wanted for serious offenses or associated with organized crime groups.
These updates reflect ongoing interagency cooperation focused on public safety along U.S. borders by identifying suspects with prior convictions or known gang affiliations for arrest and removal proceedings.
