A Texas resident has pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge in New Orleans. Corey Toliver, also known as “Woog,” entered his plea on February 10, 2026, before United States District Judge Darrel James Papillion. The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney David I. Courcelle.
Toliver, age 45, admitted to possessing with intent to distribute at least 500 grams of cocaine. Court documents state that in April 2025, he transported and possessed about two kilograms of cocaine for distribution within the Eastern District of Louisiana.
At sentencing, Toliver faces a mandatory minimum of ten years in prison and could receive up to life imprisonment. He may also be fined up to $8 million and will be subject to at least eight years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment fee.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Louisiana State Police. Assistant U.S. Attorney Lynn E. Schiffman from the Narcotics Unit is prosecuting the case.
