Secretary Rubio meets with Kosovo president to discuss cooperation on regional security

Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a meeting with Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, according to Principal Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigott. During the discussion, Secretary Rubio expressed appreciation for Kosovo’s role as a founding member of the Board of Peace and for its contributions to the International Stabilization Force in Gaza.

Rubio also conveyed gratitude on behalf of the United States to both President Osmani and the people of Kosovo for their ongoing partnership in the Western Balkans. He stated that the United States is looking forward to working with Kosovo’s new government to promote regional peace, stability, and economic prosperity.
