To help address these risks, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) will host a webinar focused on common scams and cybersecurity threats facing small businesses. The session will cover strategies for avoiding, reporting, and recovering from such incidents.

During the event, presenters will also provide free resources designed to assist employees, customers, and other members of the small business community in strengthening their defenses against cybercrime.

The webinar is scheduled to take place at 1pm ET/12pm CT/10am PT. Interested participants can join via Zoom using Meeting ID 160 858 7778 with passcode 737804 or dial in by phone using numbers provided for different locations.
