On March 29, 2026, ICE reported the arrest of Wellington Ramos in Boston, Massachusetts. According to the agency’s post, "ICE @EROBoston arrested Wellington Ramos, an ICE fugitive from Brazil with a final order of removal, in Boston, MA, March 6. His criminal history includes convictions for: —DUI —NEGLIGENT MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATION".

The following day, on March 30, 2026, ICE announced another action involving a detainer request for an individual facing local charges in Florida. The agency stated: "DETAINER ISSUED FOR ALIEN CHARGED AFTER CHASING TEEN WITH KNIFE IN MULBERRY, FL Law enforcement in Polk County, FL, arrested Vidal Mendez-Jimenez, an illegal alien from Guatemala who entered the country illegally as a teenager in 2019. He’s charged locally with AGGRAVATED".
