U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced on April 6 that it will host recruitment events throughout April for positions including Border Patrol Agent, CBP Officer, and Air Interdiction Agent.
These events are intended to connect interested candidates with agency recruiters who can provide information about federal law enforcement careers. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to recruiters during the sessions.
According to the announcement, registration is required for participation in these recruitment events. The agency said that those interested can access registration links, videos, application resources, and frequently asked questions through its online platforms.
CBP is seeking applicants for thousands of mission-critical roles. Many of these positions offer incentives such as rapid promotion potential, a variety of geographic work locations, and competitive compensation and benefits. Federal hiring regulations apply to all roles at CBP, and U.S. citizenship is required.
