The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15 at the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington.
The roundtable aims to bring together parents from across the country who have direct experience with children affected by dyslexia. This initiative is part of Cassidy’s ongoing efforts to address challenges in child literacy.
Panelists include Dr. Chanley H. Dudley from Jacksonville, Florida; Stephanie Hummel from Aurora, Colorado; Jessica Belvill from St. George, Maine; Debbie Vaughn from Charleston, South Carolina; Emuni Sanderson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Hope McDonald of Shreveport, Louisiana. These individuals are either parents or educators who work closely with students facing reading difficulties.
