A Tulsa man was sentenced on April 8 for possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute, according to U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson.

U.S. District Judge William P. Johnson sentenced Daryl Delando Jackson, age 39, to 108 months in prison and eight years of supervised release. The sentence follows a high-speed chase in June 2025 when Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers observed Jackson driving at 100 miles per hour in a zone marked for 65 miles per hour.

According to the announcement, Jackson refused to stop when troopers attempted a traffic stop and led them on a pursuit through a residential neighborhood and an apartment complex before fleeing on foot. Troopers detained him and recovered several items including a firearm, multiple small baggies of cocaine inside a large bag, liquid PCP, marijuana, and a scale.

The press release notes that Jackson has an extensive criminal history that includes offenses such as eluding officers, drug possession, burglary, felony possession of a firearm, and possession of a stolen vehicle. He will remain in custody until he is transferred to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.

The case was investigated by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Adam Bailey.
