Eric William Garvin and Anthony Lee Khan, both of Palm Bay, were sentenced to federal prison for conspiring to distribute fentanyl, according to an April 13 announcement by U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe. Garvin received a sentence of 17 years and 6 months, while Khan was sentenced to 14 years and 8 months by U.S. District Judge Anne-Leigh Gaylord Moe.
The case highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to address the distribution of dangerous drugs such as fentanyl in the community.
Court documents show that between August and September 2025, Khan sold an ounce of fentanyl on three occasions to a confidential source. Garvin supplied the fentanyl for each transaction. Authorities executed search warrants at their residences, leading to the recovery of more than 900 grams of cocaine, over 400 grams of methamphetamine, and more than 350 grams of fentanyl.
The investigation involved several agencies including the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Palm Bay Police Department, and Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney Megan Testerman prosecuted the case.
Law enforcement officials continue their efforts against illegal drug distribution in Brevard County as cases involving synthetic opioids like fentanyl remain a significant concern.
