Montgomery County man charged with child sexual exploitation and illegal gun possession

Anthony Greene, also known as “Maino” and “Von,” was arrested and charged by indictment on April 21 with multiple offenses related to child sexual exploitation and illegal firearm possession, according to United States Attorney David Metcalf. Greene, age 37, is from Trooper, Pennsylvania. He faces two counts each of manufacture of child pornography; use of an interstate commerce facility to entice a minor and attempt to entice a minor for sexual conduct; receipt of child pornography; one count each of possession of child pornography; and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Greene is scheduled for arraignment before U.S. Magistrate Judge Scott W. Reid on Friday in federal court.

According to the indictment, between March and June 2025, Greene allegedly used social media platforms to exploit several minors aged between 13 and 17 years old. The indictment states that he persuaded some minors to create sexually explicit images or videos of themselves while encouraging others to transmit such images involving minors. Additionally, it alleges that Greene possessed both child pornography and a firearm despite being prohibited as a felon.

If convicted on all charges, Greene could face up to life imprisonment.

This case falls under Project Safe Childhood—a nationwide Department of Justice initiative launched in May 2006 aimed at combating the growing problem of online child sexual exploitation. The project brings together federal, state, and local resources for locating offenders who exploit children online as well as identifying victims. More information about Project Safe Childhood can be found at projectsafechildhood.gov.

The investigation was conducted by the FBI Philadelphia Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force along with the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office Criminal Investigative Division. Assistant United States Attorneys Amanda McCool and Meghan A. Farley are prosecuting the case.

Authorities remind that these charges are accusations only; every defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
