A Florida resident, Kyle David Dudick, was indicted on April 23 for multiple child exploitation offenses in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Catherine L. Crosby.
The indictment charges Dudick, age 36 and from Royal Palm Beach, with production of child pornography, attempted production of child pornography, transfer of obscene material to minors, and distribution of child pornography. The alleged crimes occurred in August 2025 in Jefferson County, Alabama. Authorities arrested Dudick on April 16 in South Carolina.
Crosby said that anyone who suspects or is aware of possible sexual exploitation of a child should contact law enforcement or file a report online at www.cybertipline.org. She also noted that this case is part of Project Safe Childhood—a nationwide Department of Justice initiative launched in May 2006 aimed at combating the increasing problem of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
Project Safe Childhood brings together federal, state, and local resources to find and prosecute individuals who exploit children over the Internet as well as identify and rescue victims. More information about this initiative can be found at www.projectsafechildhood.gov.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation into these allegations while Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel S. McBrayer will handle prosecution duties for the case.
