A Gloucester County man was sentenced on April 16 to 360 months in prison for distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl, U.S. Attorney Robert Frazer said.
Ian Dudley, age 39, of Williamstown, New Jersey, was found guilty by a jury of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, as well as six counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and/or fentanyl. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Christine P. O’Hearn in Camden federal court. Dudley will also serve five years of supervised release after his prison term.
According to evidence presented at trial, from June through October 2023 Dudley conspired with Joseph Watson and others to distribute crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl in Camden County and Gloucester County. During this period, Dudley sold about 17.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and approximately one ounce of fentanyl to an undercover federal agent.
U.S. Attorney Frazer credited special agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Newark Field Division for their work on the investigation under Special Agent-in-Charge Beau Kolodka.
