A Mobile woman was sentenced to time served for her involvement in distributing large quantities of cocaine as part of a major drug-trafficking organization, according to an April 29 announcement by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Alabama.
The case highlights ongoing efforts by federal authorities to disrupt criminal organizations trafficking drugs and exploiting children. The prosecution is part of the Homeland Security Task Force initiative, which focuses on eliminating criminal cartels and protecting communities from violence.
Court documents show that Erina Sasha Parker, 39, pleaded guilty to participating in a conspiracy led by Glennie Antonio McGee. During recorded phone calls captured on a court-authorized wiretap, Parker and McGee coordinated deliveries involving multiple kilograms of cocaine. Parker admitted she received $500 per assignment for receiving shipments, repackaging cocaine into smaller amounts, and delivering them to other members when McGee was unavailable. Over about one month in spring 2024, she distributed more than 20 kilograms of cocaine.
Chief United States District Judge Jeffrey U. Beaverstock imposed a sentence of time served with five years of supervised release including mental health evaluation and treatment. No fine was issued but Parker must pay a $100 special assessment.
U.S. Attorney Sean P. Costello announced the sentencing and acknowledged assistance from several agencies including Homeland Security Investigations, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives as well as local law enforcement partners in Alabama and Texas.
